Imagine the beautiful afternoon sun filling small walkways and shading others in the busy streets of Kolkata, the colours of this scarf remind me of that feeling of walking through the city at this time. The warm colours of the Faria scarf mixed with the beautifully ornate patterns make it a true must have!

Our Kantha Scarf Collection is re-purposed from second hand Sari's in Kolkata, India. Two lengths of Sari are cut, then Kantha stitched together which is a traditional sewing technique from the West Bengal area of India.

The scarves are made by village ladies that come and collect work once a week and take it back to their village, this enables them to work from home taking care of their families and earning a fair-wage. Each scarf has has a different colour or pattern on the reverse side.

Scarf Length 32X 200cm
